Nottingham RFC First XV has invited all festival guests to watch their match on the Sunday afternoon, free of charge. The Meadow Lane Ground is only two minutes walk from Lady Bay Rugby Ground. The Spirit of Nottingham Festival will finish at approximately 2 pm on the Sunday, enabling everyone to attend this First Division rugby match.
Following this match a formal presentation of the festival trophies and prizes will be made at the Lady Bay Rugby ground. This will be at approximately 6 pm, and full bar and food facilities will be available. We have established that the festival prizes will be given out by several well-known international rugby celebrities. The evening will be a chance to enjoy the rugby atmosphere following all that hard work on the pitches during the weekend.
We have established a festival format that enables every team to play in a final and have a chance to take home a trophy or some silverware. Additional prizes for sportsmanship, fair play and other contributions to the festival will also be awarded.
